Enjoy your day on your own time, join us for scheduled activities, or do both! With thousands of acres of rural Wyoming at your doorstep, you'll never run out of things to do at Powderhorn Ranch.
Pull on your cowboy boots and join our crew for a five-day working ranch experience! Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a traditional calf branding and daily ranch chores. Weather can’t threaten our branding date since our indoor arena has ample space for ropers and cowboys and cowgirls. Jump right in to our traditional western activities or watch from the sidelines; we'll aim to make you feel welcome either way!
Arriving Monday, April 22nd, you will have the chance to team up with one of the ranch crew to work your way through each day of your stay. Ranch tasks vary day-to-day but may include cleaning stalls, fixing fence, checking stock or whatever else needs to be done to keep the ranch running. Return home with lifetime memories on Saturday, April 27th.
Hearty family-style meals are served 3 times a day at the home of your hosts Diemer and Susie True. You will rest well in uniquely appointed rooms above the arena or at the Heritage House. Each room reflects some aspect or our family history, hence the title, Heritage House.
Enjoy the entire week for $2100 per person. Taxes of 12% are not included and a gratuity of 15% is common in Wyoming. Transportation from the Casper, WY airport is $75 per person one way.
To make a reservation or make further inquiries, contact Diemer, at 307-797-3818 or email us at hospitality@wyodiamond.com. Spaces are limited so reserve your space soon!
