Here's an indication of what's going on at the Powderhorn. In addition to being a regular host location for Ken McNabb Horsemanship events, word-of-mouth has brought repeat annual events like professional equine photography clinics, group meetings and church retreats to the ranch.
By late January, horse people are getting tired of winter limitations but good ground, weather and outdoor events are still months away. Here's the perfect chance to spice up the slow season and start investing towards the things you miss! Join us in the cushy Powderhorn arena for two full days of coaching on "Peformance Riding 101." This clinic will be led by Michael and Julia Lyons, a husband-and-wife team who are both full time trainers and coaches with a background in performance. With an emphasis on improving horse & rider polish and building upper level maneuvers, this clinic is open to a wide variety of riders and will have something for everyone from the professional to the passionate layman. Clinic cost is $550. On-site room and 1 bedded stall available for $160/night plus tax (Saturday breakfast included). Stalls only, $20/bedded stall/day with horse owner responsible for cleaning at time of departure or $30/day with ranch staff cleaning at departure. Minimum of 4 participants required for this clinic!

In partnership with Ken McNabb Horsemanship, this will be the 17th consecutive year of Diamond-McNabb Ranch Horse Sales! Whether you are shopping for a horse or not, all are welcome to come and enjoy this event at the Powderhorn Ranch. Join members of the Equine Photographers Network for their annual Fall photography retreat at the Powderhorn!
