Powderhorn Ranch
The Powderhorn Arena is designed with comfort and serviceability in mind. The finished indoor portion is three levels with eight bedrooms, four bathrooms, a guest kitchen, a concession kitchen, an open dining area, a lounge, lobby, classroom and gift store!
Approximately 450 square foot area – serving as a gathering space and transition between the arena entryway and the indoor riding surface. The lobby features roughout wood floors and large windows looking out to the boardwalk and arena sand. A dutch door and open window space connects the lobby to the concessions kitchen, which is detailed below. The lobby has two adjoining bathrooms (total of three toilets and one shower) with two additional bathrooms located down the boardwalk (total of three toilets and one shower).

Located on the second floor of the arena, the Upper Room is a 1,400 square foot area designed with hosting in mind. The majority of the space is open floor plan with wood floors, perfect for setting up tables and chairs in numerous orientations. Nestled on one side is a beautiful western-themed seating area with couches and a gas fireplace to allow relaxation apart from the main activities. The Upper Room is connected to its full-scale kitchen through a doorway and open window space, visually defined by cabinetry and a 21 foot long countertop. This counterspace includes two under-counter mini fridges and a sink, and is perfect for buffet style meals and snack layouts. The Upper Room has hosted a wide array of retreats, presentations, family and recreational events.

Located off of the indoor balcony overlooking the arena’s “Upper Room,” these two private bedrooms are tucked away for Powderhorn visitors.

An all-in-one facility, the Powderhorn Arena features an indoor riding surface of 224 x 132 feet, enclosed with quality J-Bilt paneling. Radiant heating, high-quality lighting and natural sand footing make the indoor arena suitable for nearly any equine, livestock or social event! The arena is completed with a heated side-wing including thirty-six 12 x 12 foot stalls with rubber flooring and automatic Ritchie waterers, built-in tack rooms, electronic garage doors, a wash bay, and a complete set of outdoor pens and alleyways for handling horses and stock. It is equipped with a sound system, second-story show office with a full view of the riding surface, and a 60-foot long balcony for viewing activities. The arena has held a wide variety of events including equine and livestock clinics and competitions, corporate and non-profit fundraising banquets, the annual Diamond-McNabb horse sale, a winter wedding, and TV film events including Ken McNabb’s professional horse training series and Season 3 of the Ultimate Cowboy Showdown.
